Node reference
Inputs and previews
Where a workflow starts and where it ends: the nodes that bring your own pictures, clips, text and files onto the canvas, and the ones that hold the results.

Inputs bring your own material in
- Image Input
- One picture: click to browse, drag a file onto the node, or paste from the clipboard while the node is selected. Any of them replaces what was there. The picture paints at once and swaps to its stored copy when the upload lands.
- Video Input
- One clip, by browse or drag. The node plays it and shows its dimensions, duration and format. Wire it into Video Generate, the video tools or Motion Control.
- Text Input
- Reusable text: a prompt, a brief, a variable's value. Feeds any text port. When a wire also feeds it, its own text wins only if it actually has text; otherwise the wired value shows through.
- File Upload
- A PDF, plain text, Markdown or JSON file for Text Generate to read. No thumbnail on purpose: the card shows the name, the type and the size, which is what confirms you attached the right file.
- Image Bulk
- Many pictures as one value, for references all at once or a batch one by one. See Batch Run and triggers.
Every change is one undo step
Replacing a picture, pasting a clip or editing text commits through the editor's command layer, so Undo takes it back cleanly.
Previews hold the results
- Image Preview
- The output surface for pictures. It shows its own result when a run has filled it, otherwise a live view of whatever is wired into it, otherwise an empty frame. Hover for Download and View full size; the menu also offers Replace and Remove.
- Video Preview
- The twin for clips. A player on the canvas, with Expand for a real full-size player. Playback is governed so a board of thirty results costs a handful of decoders, not thirty.
- Bulk Output
- Where a batch's results collect, grouped by source picture, accumulating across runs. See Batch Run and triggers.
A preview's frame never collapses. It holds its size until the incoming picture has loaded, then adopts the picture's own ratio in one step, so the canvas does not jump while a run lands. While a run targets a preview, a generating overlay covers it.
Keep the canvas readable
- Note
- A sticky note on the canvas: instructions, context, reminders for whoever opens the project next.
- Frame
- A named box around a group of nodes that moves as one unit. Drag it by its header only: the body lets clicks through, so box-select and right-click still work inside it.
- Variable
- A reusable value referenced across the workflow. In the palette, not yet live.
