Create Studio

Generate in Studio

Create Studio is the direct way to make an image or a video: one composer, every model in the catalog, references when you need them, and a canvas where the results collect.

One composer, every model

Create Studio is where you make things directly. The composer sits at the bottom of the screen: a prompt, a strip for references, and a row of controls. Above it is the project canvas, a wall of everything the project has made, with the generations in flight at the top.

The composer has an Image tab and a Video tab. Both use the same model picker as the Node Editor's generate nodes, grouped by provider, so a model behaves the same in both places. The controls you see are the ones the selected model offers and nothing else.

Make your first image

  1. 1

    Open Create

Press Create in the top bar. The home canvas opens with the composer ready.
  2. 2

    Pick Image or Video

Choose the tab. The model list and the controls change to match.
  3. 3

    Choose a model

Open the model picker. Each model shows what it supports; the cost per generation appears on the Generate button.
  4. 4

Add references if you have them

Drop pictures on the reference strip, or press the add button. The model's own limit decides how many it takes.
  5. 5

Write the prompt and set the output

Describe what you want. Pick the ratio, quality or resolution, and how many variants, where the model offers them.
  6. 6

    Press Generate

Squares appear on the canvas at once and fill in as the results land. The first generation also creates the project that holds them.

Expected result

One tile per variant on the canvas, each holding a finished image with its full recipe: the prompt, the model and every setting that produced it.

Controls follow the selected model

Model
Chooses the image or video model and decides every other control. The prompt length limit, the reference count and the accepted formats are the model's own.
References
Pictures the model works from, on the strip above the prompt. Upload them, drop them in, or send any result there with Use as reference.
Ratio and size
The output shape from the model's list. Pixel-sized models can take custom dimensions, and some can render a transparent background.
Quality and resolution
Shown only for models that expose them. Some choices change the price, and the button updates as you pick.
Variants
How many independent results one press makes, up to the model's limit. Each variant is a separate generation charged in full, so the button shows the cost multiplied.
Duration and sound
On the Video tab: the clip length from the model's list and whether it generates sound, where the model can.

Video takes its media in one shape at a time

A video model works from references, from a start frame, or from a clip to edit or extend, never a mix. The Video tab shows the shape the model supports and sends exactly what that shape holds. The rules are the same as the Video Generate node's.

Drafts and Render final

Some video models offer a draft: a cheap, low-resolution preview of a take. Generate the draft first, judge the motion, and when it is right choose Render final on the tile. The same take is rendered again at full resolution, for the price shown on the menu. The vendor keeps the draft for a limited time, so render the finals you want while the option is still offered.

The price is on the button

The Generate button shows the credits one press will take: the model's base price with the options you chose, times the variants. Credits are held when you press and charged when the work lands; a failed generation is not charged. When the cost is more than your balance, the button says so instead of starting.

Projects hold the work

A Studio project is a canvas of generations. The first Generate on the home canvas creates one and moves you into it; after that, the project keeps everything you make there, in flight and finished. Open an earlier project from the project list to carry on where you left off.
