Node reference
Image to Prompt
An art director that reads a reference picture and writes the prompt that would make it, or the prompt that puts your product inside it.

From a picture to the words
Image to Prompt takes a reference picture and writes an art-directed generation prompt from it. It is not a describer that lists what it sees; it writes the brief a generator needs: the world, the light, the composition, the finish. The words stream in, stay editable, and leave through the Prompt output.
It works in two modes. Recreate writes the prompt that would make the picture again. For my product writes the prompt for a future generation step where your own product is attached, so the node itself never sees your product.
Write a prompt from a reference
- 1
Add Image to Prompt
Find it in the Creative Intelligence group and add it to the canvas. - 2
Give it the reference
Upload a picture or wire one in. This is the look you want, not your product. - 3
Choose Recreate or For my product
Recreate for the picture as it is. For my product when your own item will stand in the scene later. - 4
Add notes if you like
Notes to the art director, such as warmer light or more texture detail, steer the prompt without rewriting it. - 5
Press the button
The prompt streams into the node. Edit it, then wire Prompt into a generator.

Controls
- Mode
- Recreate or For my product. In product mode the prompt is written for the step where the product picture is attached, describing the scene around a product the node has not seen.
- Notes
- A line to the art director. Everything else is read from the picture.
- Variables
- Say which parts should become inputs, such as the background color or the elements around the product. The prompt comes back with those parts as bracketed variables.
- Series
- Ask for up to ten prompts that belong to one campaign. Keep says what stays the same across them; the creativity stop, Consistent, Balanced or Bold, says how far each one may wander.
Variables become ports downstream
A variable in the prompt, such as [background color], becomes a text input port on the generator the prompt is wired into, the same way a variable typed by hand does. Feed each one from a Text Input and the prompt structure stays fixed while the details change from run to run.
A campaign in one pass
With Series above one, the node returns a list of prompts instead of a single one, each a different shot in the same world. The list is editable on the node. The Prompt output carries the first prompt; copy the others into Text Inputs, or extract them, to feed further generators.
Your product never travels with the prompt
Common connections
Image Input → Image to Prompt → Image Generate prompt
Recreate a look you found, with a new subject.
Image to Prompt (product mode) + Image Input → Image Generate
Stage your product in the reference's world: the prompt from one wire, the product from the other.
Series → several Image Generate nodes
One world, five shots, each prompt driving its own generator.
